Belfast City Council undertook an important consultation on its Draft Linguistic Diversity Policy. An Irish-language policy was included within this.
Though not as strong as it should have been, it was a significant step in the right direction and the Irish-language community had an opportunity to put our own recommendations forward by filling out a quick questionnaire to Belfast City Council.
The Council's survey was available in English online, while we also created an Irish-language version of the form which could be filled in below dóibh siúd ar theastaigh uathu an comhairliúchán a fhreagairt i nGaeilge.
