Conradh na Gaeilge is the democratic forum for the Irish-language speaking community, by taking out membership, you will have a say in the future of the organisation and the future of the language.
Membership- from branch members to individual members - is the heart and foundation of the organisation. Conradh na Gaeilge has hundreds of branches working on behalf of the language and encouraging use of Irish, not just in Ireland, but all over the world. Since the organisation was founded in 1893, members of Conradh na Gaeilge's branches have been active in promoting the Irish language in every aspect of Irish life.

Contact Point
Conradh na Gaeilge is a contact point to the Irish language communities for its branches.
Through the organisation, branches can familiarise themselves with other Irish language activists in the sector, can get information about the most important campaigns in progress for the Irish language, can take part in social events through Irish, can discuss ideas to develop and progress the language within this democratic forum.

Each branch will receive a virtual copy of our newsletter each month, which shares information regarding campaigns and the organisation's main events with our network of members. Be part of the network!

The practical aim of the organisational branch is to promote Irish in the area of the branch. Conradh na Gaeilge’s branches are located all over the world. Each branch has a vote at Conradh na Gaeilge’s Ard-Fheis every year. Newsletters and information will be provided to each branch, as well as a platform for them to share information about events they are holding.
All you need to do to set up a branch is a committee of people who are happy to organise social events in their local area or who wish to take part in the democratic system of the organisation. A committee must have a chairperson, secretary, treasurer and a public relations officer.
You can register or re-register your branch online by filling in this online form. Credit card and direct deposit are both accepted as payment methods.

Fill out the registration form and send it to Conradh na Gaeilge's head office along with the appropriate registration fee (€50 for one year, €150 for 3 years and €250 for 5 years).
NB:
*We must have received the form and the fee at least 10 weeks before the Ard-Fheis to allow you to vote.
*It is highly important that the Ard-Oifig have the most up to date details of your branch to ensure regular correspondence between branches and the Ard-Oifig.
The current fee for organisational membership is €50 per annum.
