Teach na Gaeilge is the Irish-language centre of the Maigh Cuilinn Gaeltacht in Co. Galway. The centre was built in 2011 on a site provided free of charge by the local development association, and Conradh na Gaeilge funded the new building; the centre has not received any state funding. All construction work was carried out on a voluntary basis by members of the Maigh Cuilinn branch of Conradh na Gaeilge and other voluntary helpers in the parish, under the direction of the architect Niall Ó Céirín.
Since its opening, Teach na Gaeilge is being used for Irish classes for adults, Irish courses for parents with young children, a parent & toddler group, conversation circles, a Fun Club for young children, a drama club, art courses, yoga classes through Irish, summer camps, a fun camp for young children, Irish-language events with local primary schools, family support events, an arts festival and other events through Irish.
