Conradh na Gaeilge have organised an event as part of their history and heritage project 'Cultural Transformation and Conradh na Gaeilge.' This project brings the central role that Conradh na Gaeilge played in the language revival in Ulster to light, as well as the significance of this to the social and political culture of Ireland.

This project focuses on the main aspects of Conradh na Gaeilge’s archives, which in turn, puts the organisation’s diverse history at centre stage, as well as focusing on the role that the organisation played in the reinstatement of pride for the language in the province.

During the event, guests will hear from a panel of four people, amongst whom the aims and importance of the project will be discussed, as well as the reasoning behind it. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding into the diverse history of the organisation in Ulster. It’s of utmost importance to put the interesting, diverse history of the organisation back in the public domain; this way, Irish will be presented as a language that caters to everyone, regardless of religious or political beliefs.

Everyone welcome- Bígí linn!
