Conradh na Gaeilge is the democratic forum for the Irish-speaking community, and its main aim is to promote the use of Irish as the standard language in Ireland. The organisation works on behalf of the Irish language and the people who use it throughout the island of Ireland and around the world. There are almost 180 branches of Conradh na Gaeilge in addition to its many individual members, and you can contact Conradh na Gaeilge's fulltime members of staff in the offices below between 9.00am - 5.30pm from Monday - Friday.
The Irish-Language Community Schemes are a network of community-based Irish Language Development Officers. Funded by Foras na Gaeilge, Conradh na Gaeilge branches run the following schemes and implement a Work Plan and Programme of Activities within their communities to continuously advance, promote and maintain the Irish language on a community basis.
