The history of Cumainn Ghaelacha in colleges and universities is long established, with some branches over 100 years old. Since the early years of Conradh na Gaeilge there has been a longstanding relationship between the organisation and students - see here for the students sections in old editions of Claidheamh Soluis and Fáinne an Lae from the start of the 20th century.
College life is short, and it's even shorter that the typical student will be on a society committee while they're there. With that, committees change fast, and all the work that committees do can be forgotten by those that come after them fairly quickly too. Here, we'd like to keep a small archive so that society officers and members can see what came before them in years gone by. This is only a start, and any branch is welcome to submit material to add here.
