Presenting the layout of Beginners 1, level TEG A1, this course will be suitable for complete beginners of Irish.
This course is suitable for those with absolultey no experience with the Irish language. If you have any experience at all with Irish, please register for refreshers 1 or beginners 2.
The teaching staff at Conradh na Gaeilge use TEG's (Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge) framework to structure their courses. Each teacher has the freedom to cover their own material also. This course will help those looking to sit the official TEG exams, however it is entirely up to the individual learner to prepare suitably for those exams. A wide range of topics will be covered in the classes: conversational Irish, Irish grammatical structures, listening exercises, reading and more.
