This class will aim to develop communication and spoken skills in Irish. Learners will some understanding of Irish to come onto this class as communication will be important and games, debates, articles and more will be used to encourage speaking between the participants of the class.
The teaching staff at Conradh na Gaeilge use TEG's (Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge) framework to structure their courses. Each teacher has the freedom to cover their own material also. This course will help those looking to sit the official TEG exams, however it is entirely up to the individual learner to prepare suitably for those exams. A wide range of topics will be covered in the classes: conversational Irish, Irish grammatical structures, listening exercises, reading and more.
